It’s been an exciting summer!

In July I published one of my favorite short stories—Cuffed. It’s a true story about a frightening yet entertaining event that happened one night long ago when I worked the graveyard shift in a local pharmacy. That night the criminal was no match for me. The pinnacle event of my summer, however, was the publication of my debut novel Lethal Medicine. It’s a thrilling tale of international intrigue, murder and deceit when my protagonist (Jon Masters) discovers that the investigational drug study he’s managing is a cleverly disguised scam. With the help of a trusted confidante, Jon reenters the world of covert ops and cyber intelligence to uncover an international conspiracy that redefines the term “designer drugs” as he fights to save his reputation and his life. And the excitement continues! As the summer comes to a close and the Labor Day holiday weekend approaches, I have a special treat for you. I’ve gathered together an anthology of six extraordinary short stories authored by myself, plus four talented writer friends. These short stories are guaranteed to play with your mind as you navigate through plots that end in unforeseeable consequences.

In fact, since each story ends in some variation of a life altering and unexpected outcome, I’ve titled the collection Unforeseeable Consequences. It will be available by the weekend for your reading pleasure and it’s certain not to disappoint.

We’re doing the final tweaks at this very moment before pressing the publish button. I’ll send further notification later in the week as it releases. This will make for a great reading experience over the long holiday weekend and a proper close to the summer season.

I hope your summer was as exciting as mine and I look forward to a great fall as we head into the season of cooler temperatures.
